The 2018 season was another good year for the team with 3  aerotow events run at Middle Wallop (one was cancelled at short notice by the military !), 2 very successful flying camps at Cheddar and Binham and a new Aerotow event at the BMFA site at Buckminster. All this and of course a full calendar of UK and Foreign flying displays and competitions.

John's Grumman Albatross flying boat project proved to be very challenging, especially the very complex undercarriage but it is now finished and has completed its test flying programme. Look out for this model around the shows and fly in's in 2019. It has its own dedicated web page now under the "General Aircraft" section.

The Mosquito projects are continuing as time permits and have now got as far as motor installation. Darren is making steady progress on his 1/4 scale Hurricane. Andrew is finding his Whirlwind project quite a challenge and has been a bit stop, start this year whilsh he works through the issues but the project is slowly moving forward.

Build details of all these models can be found on their new dedicated web pages under the "Current Projects" button.

This wheelchair  is powered by an  APU from a jet aircraft.

On one run it got airborne for about 40 feet with John still in it.

This was not in the design envelope.
