The Sea otter is now an old aircraft and the time for the odd repair here and there are long past. The idea is to bring the model back to 100% airworthiness and to enhance it so that it will be possible to fly it off of water eventually. The first problem to overcome is the flexing in the fuselage which has been cause by a large number of glue joints failing due to age any suspect joints ( nearly all) are being taken apart cleaned and re glued and the fuselage realigned.
This project will take sometime and no doubt be interrupted by the teams other projects hence to ability to hoist it back to the roof when required
