The Falcon was built by Fred Slingsby in 1931/2 from the plans from Alexander Lippiscy, the designer of the original called a Falke. Slingsby took Lippiscy’s design because at the time he didn’t`t have a medium performance glider design of his own.
The model is to a scale of 1;2.25 making the wingspan of approx 6 meters. The plan has been developed from a 3 view drawing by fellow team members John and Ivan.
The project was started in the winter of 2011
