    Plans Etc.

Construction continues on the Ghost Squadron latest project, a Tiger Moth to a scale of 1 : 2. This is a bit of a departure for the team away from the more normal WW2 models but John fancied a new challenge.
The model is being built as a Glider tug to tow the collection of ½ scale vintage glider models that are currently under construction by scale soaring enthusiasts in the UK.
To give sufficient power to tow these huge gliders a custom made twin cylinder 2 stroke motor of 384cc is being built specially to fit this model.
All the wing ribs have been cut using the Teams new  CNC cutting machine that Alan has been building for the last year. Construction is scale throughout with the exception of the main fuz structure where wood has been substituted for the square section steel tube of the original.
