Mk 1 Hawker Hurricane built from the plans by Richard Rawle. At 120 inches it is quarter scale and is powered by a 3W 80cc inline twin petrol engine swinging a 28 x 12, two bladed wooden propeller. It weighs 21 kg. The paintwork is based on an aircraft from 257 Sqn RAF, P3175, when flown by a PO Maffett during the Battle of Britain, sadly  he was shot down and perished in the aircraft. the remains are on display at the RAF Museum, Hendon.
