This 2 metre span model was built to fill to fill the gap in the range of models the team fly. Although the team mainly concentrate on large models there was a need for a turbine powered model of a more modest size that could be operated from smaller sites.The model is a 1:6.4 and is built around a fibreglass fuselage with built up balsa sheeted wings and tail .An AMT Mercury turbine producing 9 kg of thrust provides power. Fuel capacity is 2.6l and this is sufficient for a 10 min flight with a safe reserve. The model features a retracting undercarriage, flaps and brakes
