VP1
The VP1 is a 60% scale model of a well known homebuilt aircraft and is very
stable in flight. It is equipped with a 3w 140cc motor and weighs 23 kg so
it is operated under the Over 20kg Scheme and holds a CAA Exemption for
public flying.
Although it is not equipped with flaps the constant chord wing and the "all
flying" tailplane gives excellent stability on the approach at very low
speeds.
The aircraft has been operating successfully for over 8 years.
