The LMA has a floatplane site situated at Billing Aquadrome near
Northampton.
Flying floatplanes is very enjoyable and different aspect of model flying
and there are very few sites around the UK where this is permitted to take place.
It is essential that a "retrieval" boat is available when flying takes
place so that aircraft can be brought back to the shore if an engine stops.
