IIn this new section, it is planned to feature photo’s, video’s etc from the events that the team organises during the summer months each year. The two main events being the Belle Vue week in North Devon in June and the Binham week in Norfolk over the August Bank holiday.
Both events are aimed at putting the fun back into flying, as many of the shows these days consist of a few slots a day at best and with very little time for modellers to sit and discuss future projects. These Ghost Squadron events allow modellers as much or as little flying as they like and also electrical and mechanical repairs can be carried out on site .The number of participants is limited to less than 25 caravans with a small amount of extra fliers allowed at weekends . This allows for a friendly atmosphere and no or very little waiting for a chance to fly .All types of flying models are welcome. Help and advice is freely available with many flyers choosing to carry out test flights during the week.
