Tony's latest build is a 1/3rd scale Ka6e glider. The model has a fibreglass fuselage from Rosenthal with built up wings and tail

 

Trial fit of the wings and tail to check alignment

Fuz in primer looking for pin holes and imperfections. White primer was sprayed over the grey as a basr for the top colours.

Wings sprayed yellow and masking applied for the pink.

Wings finished along with tailplanes and rudder.

Fuz has been sprayed yellow and is now being masked up for the trim and insignia to be sprayed on.

Paint job finished and model posed in the garden for photos.

 

With the paint job finished, attention turned to fitting out the cockpit detail. First was the instrument panel which had to be made removable to allow access to the nose area to mount the radio batteries.
